Eucalyptus Australiana
Eucalyptus radiata, also known as the narrow-leaved Peppermint, is a native to south-eastern Australia. The tree grows up to 50m tall and prefers cooler or wetter habitats. Distillation of the leaves is known to have strong germicidal, antibacterial and analgesic properties. It has long been used by indigenous communities in Australia for medicinal and cultural purposes.
Lavender Spike
Also known as Portuguese Lavender, Lavender Spike is a strongly aromatic shrub growing up to 80cm tall and is native to the western Mediterranean region. It has the highest camphor content of the whole Lavender family. It boasts a rich history of use due to its popular fragrance, strong antiseptic qualities and its medicinal properties that encourage healthy respiratory function. Lavender Spike is very different therapeutically from Lavender Sweet and Lavender True.
Peppermint in Essential Oil
Peppermint is a herbaceous perennial plant that can grow to be up to 90 cm tall. It prefers moist, shady conditions. Indigenous to Europe and the Middle East, this herb is now cultivated in many parts of the world. It is used widely as a culinary herb and is a very popular flavour in teas, sweets and toothpaste as well as a refreshing addition to skincare products. Peppermint is found to be very effective as a treatment for headaches, congestion, digestive complaints and sore muscles.
How to Use
Recommended Dosage
Put 1 drop onto fingertips and apply to the base of the nose.
Pro Tip
For sinus congestion - head colds and hayfever, mixing 10 drops into 1 tsp Untouched Body cream/oil and rub onto the chest. Repeat as often as required.
