Featured Ingredients

Aniseed (Pimpinella anisum)

Aniseed is derived from a herbaceous, flowering plant that grows to around 90cm. It is native to the eastern Mediterranean region and Southwest Asia. It's medicinally well known for its presence in gripe water to ease stomach complaints. Aniseed's anti-bacterial and anti-microbial properties have been used for centuries as an expectorant and for dry coughs. The seeds have long been used to add scent, flavour and digestive support to a huge variety of foods and beverages.

Chamomile in Supplements

A well-known calming herb prized for its therapeutic prowess. Known for promoting sleep, easing anxiety, and soothing gastrointestinal issues, chamomile is an excellent choice to support overall relaxation, stress relief as well as the gut-brain axis. It also helps to support the digestive system and reduce bloating and gas.

Cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum)

Cinnamon is a spice that contains high levels of bioactive antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties. As well as helping to support healthy blood sugar levels, cinnamon is also well known to support digestive comfort, nausea, bloating and stomach upset.

Dandelion Root (Taraxacum officinale)

Dandelion root (Taraxacum officinale) has been used for centuries to support healthy liver and kidney function, and the clearance of wastes and toxins from the body. Dandelion is a bitter plant supporting an overall healthy digestive system, the flow of digestive juices and the break down of food for optimal absorption.

Fennel Seed (Foeniculum vulgare)

Licorice Root (Glycyrrhiza glabra)

It contains glycyrrhizin which has a similar structure to the hormones produced by the adrenal glands (including cortisol). Licorice provides support for adrenal exhaustion which can interfere with normal sleep.
