Lime
Lime, or Key Lime, is a popular, small green fruit from the Citrus family, originating from tropical Southeast Asia and South Asia. With greater volumes of sugar and acid than lemons, limes have become globally popular for their use in cuisine, perfume and aromatherapy. The cold-pressed rind extraction is also broadly known for its restorative, antiviral and antiseptic properties.
Juniper Berry
Juniper berries come from the evergreen Juniper tree. They are hardy, drought-resistant trees growing to 40 metres tall. There are between 50 and 67 species of junipers and they are native to many parts of the world, including North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Africa. The berries are not a true berry, but a cone with fleshy scales, which gives it a berry-like appearance. It is used in the distillation of gin and has many other culinary uses. Juniper berry oil has antiseptic properties and is said to boost joint health and immunity.
Rosemary Cineol
An evergreen shrub with fragrant, narrow leaves and white, pink, purple, or blue flowers. It is native to the Mediterranean region but can tolerate cooler climates. Its first recorded mention dates back 5,000 years and its medicinal reputation is well documented since then. With strong, vibrant depth as a culinary aromatic, its use as a tea to get the brain ticking is very popular historically and today. Its properties are also connected with muscular pain relief and as a tonic for skin and hair.
Fir Balsam
A small to medium-size evergreen tree that can grow up to 27 metres in height. It is native to parts of Canada and prefers a cooler climate. It has been used for thousands of years by Native Americans for a huge variety of conditions and ritual purposes. It is well used today for the support of immunity and respiratory health.
